I’m passionate about two things in life:  My super-sized family and reading.

I believe that instilling in your child a love of books is one of the most important things you can do for them.

I'm an obsessive reader and a trivia junkie. I'm married to a musician / retired school teacher, and we have six adult children and a grandson.

I live in Darling with my husband, a boerboel, two border collies and a cat.

I wrote my first three books in the pre-Google era.  That means trips to actual reference libraries.  I loved every minute of that research, but now could not conceive of a life without internet.

I've had a diverse career; I produced Allan Barnard's morning show on Radio Good Hope. I've been a tutor, a restaurateur and a stay-at-home mom.
